Magna Carta

Magna_Carta.jpg
This is a copy of the Magna Carta, signed by King John of England in the year 1215. The Magna Carta was designed in order to limit monarchs' power so that not one could rule over the others. This document was created because of conflict between King John and some rebellious aristocrats. When the aristocrats had finally had enough they gathered together to force King John to change certain rights of the people and provide better protection for them. As a result of this, the Magna Carta was created to help keep kings' power under control.
Now with more protection and rights people were happier with their lives because they were no longer oppressed by their kings. This is a political impact because they were now more independent in their lives. The Magna Carta had social impacts on the people as well. They had more independence in their lives because things were more equal for most people. So as a result of the Magna Carta, townspeople lived happier lives, even if itmeant King John was still in control.
